At 3PM CT our hosting vendor began making changes to the IP addresses of the Enterprise platform services without our explicit authorization. This appeared to us internally as small (under 2 minutes) outages for our domain names (ex. api.kimbia.com). This persisted for 40 minutes resulting in degraded performance, but was not a platform wide outage. During this window some customers may have experienced a combination of the following effects: - Embedded Forms not displaying - Form submissions timing out when passed to a payment gateway - Admin panel slowness - Admin panel sessions being logged out - If a payment gateway relies on a whitelist of accepted server IP addresses, then a denial of transactions submitted from the GiveGab Enterprise platform
Once we became aware of the unauthorized IP address changes the issue was immediately corrected. We have reviewed the list of impacted transactions and will be reaching out to the impacted customers directly.
